Naïve Restaurant : Blessing of the Sesame Seed (BLOSS)

After a great UIBC seminar, a group of us went for dinner at a very unique vegetarian restaurant in Katong, Singapore. The name of the restaurant is Naïve and they had an interesting ceremony called "BLOSS" which involves grinding sesame seed.

This video is where the waitress explained to us the reasons behind the ceremony known as "BLOSS."

Although it's not shown here, everyone had a turn at grinding the seeds. It was fun. :)

As for the vegetarian dishes that came out, it was extremely tasty and so unlike any vegetarian dish I've ever eaten. It definitely didn't feel like a vegetarian dish.

Now, a recipe book would go a long way from this restaurant :)
