The Woodhaven Box Joint Jig is the easiest way to make box joints because the work moves over the jig. That means there's less chance for error and better results than jigs that require moving both the jig & the work for each cut. Check out the Box Joint Jig at Woodhaven.com: http://bit.ly/AnIEPr
@deezynar i speak with a little experience on this kind of matter when 6 years ago i almost lost 2 fingers after an accident which needed 12 hours surgery to repair , so all i can say is be very carefull !!!!

Safe doesn't exist, there are merely levels of risk. I agree, toggle clamps might lower the risk, but I feel comfortable holding the stock myself, as I do when I use a cross-cut sled or a miter square. In other words, this jig is not "very dangerous" as you said. It is merely that the you perceive it to have a level of risk higher than you feel comfortable w/. I respect your concern for your own safety, but I'll let my own experience inform me of what I think is dangerous.
