I'm Through with the Democratic Party. I'm Considering Ron Paul!

Generally I choose not to delve much into politics from a personal perspective on my channel, but the complete and utter disregard for the Constitution and the voting electorate is unacceptable. At a minimum, the letter was cathartic.

Dear President Obama, DCCC and DSCC members,

I write this letter with a heavy heart. It troubles me to state the obvious; America's Democratic party is no longer the party of the people. Members of the Democratic party have shown as much contempt and disregard towards the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement as their Republican counterparts and I, for one, expect and demand better from my political party and its leaders.

Over the past several months more than 5,500 patriotic citizens have been arrested for expressing their beliefs - an inalienable right previously protected under the First Amendment. However, as of this writing not a single banking executive, financial or hedge fund manager responsible for the theft of trillions of dollars has seen the inside of a courtroom. Facts are stubborn things: there really is no difference between the two parties. Behold political rhetoric!

In 1998, Cardinal Roger Mahony remarked: "Any society, any nation, is judged on the basis of how it treats its weakest members; the last, the least, the littlest." This used to be the mantra of the Democratic party. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case and as a result, we all know where we stand as a nation now, don't we?! While you all play political games, the people needlessly suffer. You all do put on quite a performance, but that's all it is - a theater of the absurd - creating an elaborate show to incite the masses and to keep them distracted. That's just not good enough.

It pains me to recognize that my former party and my President have been auctioned off to the highest bidders - bought and paid for by the same oligarchy that has owned the Republican party for decades. Both teams represent their brand of special interest deception. Each side has made a calculated decision to disregard and disrespect the voting electorate while garnering favor with very powerful interests. Politics has become a blood sport. Unfortunately, the victims of this tragedy are always the middle class (what's left of it anyway) and the poor!

S1868 (NDAA) was the last straw for many of us. Americans with a conscience cannot support the blatant evisceration of the Constitution, all under the guise of protecting the people from a fear-based, faceless entity known as "terrorism." Fact is, the events of 9-11 have opened the door to government-sponsored tyranny. Terrorism has been a well-thought out, deliberately crafted form of oppression used as a means of control (enslavement) by lawmakers who are sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution. You know perfectly well that one can never win a war against a concept. This so-called "war on terror" is nothing more than the Hegelian dialectic in play.

As a result of political rhetoric and an insatiable appetite for political power and government control, this grand document we call the Constitution, once revered, is now treated as a chew toy from within all three branches of government. As for the Fourth Estate (the media), it has all but gone AWOL. What was once the nation's watchdog has, like our political representatives, sold out and is now merely a corporate lap dog.

Of this I am certain; H.R. 3261 (SOPA) will be the next attempt at securing a fascist state, handing control of the internet over to very powerful corporate interests assisted by government through means of censorship and surveillance, neither entity having our best interests at heart. We have sadly come to realize that censorship, incarceration and enslavement of the American people rule the day. Grow tomatoes in your front yard: arrested! Videotape law enforcement in action from your front yard: arrested! Bankrupt a nation: just move on to your next planned theft with no one being held accountable.

We have morphed from a nation of laws into a nation of men, blatantly disregarding the rule of law when wealthy interests are at stake, yet enforcing draconian measures where the average American is concerned. As citizens, we are viewed by both politicians and elitists as cattle and this must change!

It's sad and ironic, isn't it? One is not allowed to burn the flag as a form of protest because that's considered un-American. However, our elected representatives can ravage the Constitution without so much as blinking an eye and that's considered acceptable. Our Republic has been hijacked. Our democracy is dying a slow, albeit painful death, and neither party seems to care. It's both shameful and disgraceful. And in the end, we all suffer. We deserve better - much better!

I am an individual sovereign human. Ron Paul is the only candidate that has exibited a consistant record of upholding the constitution of the Republic. My view is that the only role of the governemt is to protect the individual sovereign birth rights of people, Ron Paul is consistant with that view. For the Democrat who says we need social programes promoted by gov. I say charity begins and ends with individuals not forced by tyrants. Sovereign individuals work togeather just fine.

@PennaPlanum When people are awake, it may mean that they see beyond the propaganda, smoke and mirrors. It doesn't indicate where their loyalties lie. I saw one person who awakened and decided for his future safety; that he needed to become a policeman; another who decided they would become verbally loyal to the power elites inorder to prosper; several others who are awake, yet are tactically silent, and hiding. Awake is just the beginning of awareness; what happens after is what matters.

Indeed they will be psyop'ed into attacking the people who are aware...as you have just experienced. A painful truth is that it is we the people who obey the orders of the evil power elites; we who are building and staffing the police state; and who will enforce the tyranny. @asymthought Thank you for your recognition. I really appreciate your support. I love America! Heck, I love all of God's children, even the darkened souls. We all have good and bad within us - it's an ongoing battle. I'm just not proud of much of what we do as a nation in the name of God or country. The collective consciousness has, indeed, been poisoned and in many instances by well-meaning people. But poison is still poison and it's deadly. So many sheeple left to awaken... so little time. ;)

@asymthought Ah, thanks for your support but don't worry about it. There is no right/wrong where people's opinions are concerned - they are what they are. I've learned that you can't please all the people all the time and eventually someone's going to lash out. And I'm clued-in enough to know that character assassination is the last vestige of an intellectually bankrupt scoundrel. If you don't like the message then attack the messenger with dehumanizing rhetoric. Speaks volumes, doesn't it? :)
