you kidding, Solidus was a puppet, if you played all the games you realize the lines of Hero and Viallan is nearly blurred, there is no real badguy's in Metal Gear

Well, that could be argued. I personally think he was solely motivated by rescuing Big Boss. Saving the world just came along with it seeing as to save Big Boss he had to save the world.

the president was the worst guy in mgs2. He wanted to use arsnal gear to bribe his way into the ranks of the patriots. You completely right tho. I hate it when people say they should make a game where you see big boss turn evil lol. The cleaver thing about mgs is all the snakes wanted the exact same thing (to be free from the patriots) they just had different ways of getting it.
