  • @ketogenesis lol that would suck if u couldnt find the cover but you had to watch your stock dive lower and lower

  • my first time shorting today with a different platform. i didnt realize there was no "cover" button anywhere to be found until after I made the trade. lost probably half of my daily earnings. lol luckily it was only about 12 bucks. so just let that be a lesson, know how to cover before you short. dont do what i did. i had to log out, close the application, and log into the web account to cover my short

  • To continue from the same example from above, if I had placed my buy after you and I was also on ARCA, then you would have had priority over my order. But you don't necessarily have priority over orders on other ECNs or other market makers at the same price. I hope that answers your question.

  • The trades going off at 10.16 were executed at a different ECN or market maker than where he had his order routed. I.E. let's say you first placed a buy at 10.16 for MRVL on ARCA and then I placed the same buy after you on ISLD. If a sell order for MRVL then came through on ISLD, my buy would be filled but yours would not until a sell order came thru on ARCA. So there is no line on NASD in that respect. It just looked like he was first because his software listed his order on top.

  • it was interesting to see how your 10.16 order took so long to execute, the funny thing is it was printing 10.16 but yours was not getting filled even though your order was next in line, how is that possible ? do you get all your trades from trade ideas. Glad to see you had a great day Andy, keep up the good work

  • im like COME ON BABY HIT THE BID its exciting.... haha good job man
