Neutopia - Dirth + ending part 1

This is a two-part video, since the video exceeds YouTube's time limit. The first part will contain the final battle, part two will contain the ending.

This boss is kinda hard and at the same time very easy. I don't know why but I seemed to constantly hit him, although I think he has a random pattern when teleporting around. The best advice I can give you is to always try and go to the side further away from Dirth's projectiles, it's easier to dodge them. You can't block them with your shield. Also, I don't think that the fire wand worked on this boss.

Also, the video's framerate doesn't do this battle justice, with the framerate Dirth can be spotted much easily. You just gotta love the music in the game, especially the two regular boss themes, the final boss theme and the ending along with many others. The ending theme reminds me a bit of both Super Mario 64's ending and Wario Land 3's ending, though both of them were made many years after this one and neither of them had the same composer, this might just be me anyway.

To those who have never played Neutopia I or II, but own a Wii and like the old Legend of Zelda games, you should get the Neutopia games for the Wii's Virtual Console.

Next uploads will not be of Neutopia II's bosses, but instead of a certain Castlevania's bosses. Neutopia II's bosses will be uploaded some time too.

hmm yeah, just beat this on vc, was looking around the internets and will now assume that you just end the game with 3 empty inventory spots for some reason.

Agreed, it is an awesome Zelda clone. I think its more fun to play than the original Zelda. I always say, if youre gonna copy something, copy from the best. This game stands on its own though too.

This was a few years before Zelda III A Link to the past, all we had back then was Zelda II The Adventure of Link, which disappointed me.

So this game was my surrogate true Zelda sequel

Id love to make my own Neutopia using Zelda Classic, and some careful tile editing.

Neutopia may be a Zelda I ripp-of but it's so much more fun to play.

Very good fight, I had some trouble and needed two Potions
