I have only tested with gasoline and NG, I don"t have propane and on either of those fuels the generator runs just fine as demonstrated in the video go to us carburetion site they will mod your carburetor or sell the adapter your choice depending on what engine you are adadpting. I can't speak for your advice except that you are modifying the intake, the carb mod is usually a means to get the vapor line attached to the carb also. Either way you are supplying a vapor into the carburetor.

looks complicated. How long did it take to install? Looks like you had to do some mods.

I did cut the plastic around the choke switch so the plastic cover could be re-installed, otherwise you have to remove the plastic tip and bend the metal choke switch easier to cut some plastic out and remount the cover, I can do the conversion in under an hour, it is just installing the two carburetor screw extensions then install the adapter with the vapor line to the mounted regulator, relatively easy and only two frame holes to mount the regulator.

@taineasy B.S., honda told me the same thing but as a mechanic i know it will work and did it anyway after hurricane katrina in new orleans. NG needs mixture needs to be increased as opposed to propane but both work great. should test at full rpm of engine and you can smell the exhaust and hear the engine, shoot for the leanest threshold without smelling the fuel and should work fine. uscarb.com 1800 553 5608

Have you used with all three fuels since the conversion? Does it run as well on NG and Propane as it did on just gas? The reason i ask is that if the engine does not run strong and steady the quality of the power drops off dramatically. I was also looking at a few other conversions, some of which involve sending your carb to the manuafacturer for modifications. I called one of them and they told me that there is no way any tri fuel conversion will work properly without carb mods. Decision time!
