Great movie! Many would find it offensive (Americans), or would argue that they should work harder, or that at least they have jobs, blah blah blah.

But the truth is that Jamaica is exploited just like any other nation the U.S. and the capitalist elite have their hands on. They are human beings that suffer, get hungry, feel pain, sorrow, joy, etc...they're not robots nor are they inferior. This is sad!

I think the problem is if we were all farmers then many poor countries would complain they have x3+ people then land to grow food on instead that the poor countries actually tried to maybe have 1 child/family like China or improve so more land can grow more food

@brian8793 go out around the world and make sure that presidents of foreign nations are submissive to those same corporations. If not, they send in the tanks and jets to remove that president and install someone better suited. All the while the American people pay for this and die for this... for the interests of billionaires. Look at the history of the CIA and how many leaders they have gotten rid of one way or another. Or look into Smedley Butler, one of the most decorated marines ever.

Can't pay its debt, almost defaulting, the government shut down for a couple hours there, claiming it could not pay its military. How many economic crashes has it had recently? And you brag about military spending? That is politicians taking the citizens money, then giving it to their friends who own giant corporations to build jets and tanks that can then be used to...

What would America do if themajority of the nations had living standards in comparison and equal to them? Cant you see that it is not in this country's interest to make sure these nations "truly" get to where they should be? Coporate greed runs in America too...and worse in vunerable foreign nations. American, we, shouldnt be offened..corporate greed is not what our founding fathers fought and died for
