what kind of mileage have you gotten on road with it. I have never owned a car and would like to be able to ride more often int he winter. I live in Minnesota and it is NEVER to cold to ride, just ice or snow on the roads is what stops me. Do you ride her for for transport or just pleasure?

Would you believe my first experience with studded tires was on somebody else's 58 Chevy wagon in MT? The difference (paved streets) was dramatic. Thanks for putting the video up! BTW is mirektrial still OK? Best regards.

@TheSonofmydad : '58 wagon...!!! Those were BIG! Mirektrial is OK as far as I know. He bought a BMW R100GS a couple of months ago. I'm sure that is keeping him very busy :)
Thanks

I ride the Ural primarily off road, even in the winter. These tires are soft. I'd say, without rotating them on a regular basis, you might get 3,000 km's out of a set. If I were just riding on the street I would stud up a set of Kenda 335 ice tires or Heidenau's and run them at 15 psi. Thanks for asking & enjoy your rig.
