2007 Mustang GT/CS 5-80 accelerate

I took this video on Transmountain in El Paso, Tx. My passenger who was recording obviously didn't expect the jolt to 2nd so the video gets a little shaky for a second. Because I was in a public area with people and vehicles scarcely around, I took a rolling start of about 5-10mph onto the street when I went WOT. The vehicle is completely stock.

I know you've heard it before, but be careful! Transmountain can kill you if you don't know what you're doing and let the car get out from under you. A 16 year old died because of speed(albeit on a bike, but nonetheless...)this week, let's not add another, especially in a Mustang, to the list.

I take it you're from El Paso? Transmountain is fun. You get to engine break quite a bit on the way down. Just watch out for the bikes. They like to race(and sometimes die) the mountain or time and speed. =)

My dad has one, it's a badass car! His has a magnaflow exhaust though, it sounds awesome. I can agree with your passenger, it does jolt you under WOT :)

underexperienced kids and quick cars....bad idea, id suggest taking it easy and know your car first instead of going there off the bat...could be the last time u drive that car
