Green Lighthouse animation

Green Lighthouse, the new facilities for the Faculty of Science at the University of Copenhagen, sets a very high standard for sustainability and for low carbon footprint while still providing the occupants with plenty of daylight and generous spaces.

The building will literally become a source of renewable energy and serve as a showcase at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen later this year.

The building was commissioned by University of Copenhagen http://greenlighthouse.ku.dk/english, Municipality of Copenhagen in collaboration with Velux, http://velux.com, and Velfac, http://velfac.com.

Green Lighthouse was designed and constructed by Hellerup Byg, Christensen & Co Architects http://cco.as, and Cowi http://cowi.com.

The only thing it does not seem very realistic is the "perpetual" heating system using external heat sources and preserving the heat inside a chamber (?)

It does not make sense, you would use lots of energy trying to keep that chamber warm
