For this Masters degree
we are expecting you to become an inquiry-led,
work-focussed learner
- but what does this mean?
You're going to start by looking at your professional context.
Later, it means that you are going to raise questions
about your work practice
and about your work organisation.
You might have a great ideas to offer.
You might see something that doesn't work well.
The next step
is to plan an action to improve matters.
After carrying out your plan,
gathering data as you go,
you consider how it went by reviewing the outcome
- this is reflection.
You will repeat this cycle at least once.
Finally, you will report back
and evaluate the whole context,
inviting work colleagues to participate.
Our belief
is that these steps will lead to a new, critically reflective 'you'
- someone who knows their work
and knows how to change it for the better
- and you'll get the credit!
