  • Thanks for creating this, Bellini is one of my favorite composers. I have a recording of this opera featuring Pavarotti and Sutherland, and I like Kraus's phrasing very well, his gentleness. There's been so much talk about Pavarotti since his death, and his voice was truly gorgeous, but he seems to have had less subtlety, less ability to modulate his voice for tender moments like this. I'm less familiar with Scotto's voice, she certainly has much better diction than Sutherland.

  • @kraustrujillo Esta voz para mi, idonea para tenor como Kraus, es que más no puedo adorar ese sonido tan caballeroso de Kraus, de gran estilismo vocal, gran dominio, bien ejercitada y muy buena disciplina vocal.

  • Di fronte all'arte di Kraus e della Scotto, Florez e la Dessay sentiti al MET diventano l'uno un onesto professionista e l'altra una dilettante

  • Era il Settembre del 1957 ad Edimburgo quando,dopo la defezione della Callas, la Scotto in pochi giorni di studio entrò nel ruolo di Amina imponendosi all' attenzione mondiale. Qui al suo fianco,Venezia 1961, il grandissimo ed indimenticabile Kraus con il quale condivise successi ed amicizia sincera

    per altri decenni.
