  • The VE-25 is a lighter tent. More compact and easier to transport in rough conditions.

The VE-35 is a larger tent same design. It took me between, 20 to 25 min. to set up with the fly in 3o mph winds. Compared to the Mountain Hardwear EV2/EV3 which is lighter and set-up time is about 12 min. in high wind condition. But keep in mind the EV2/EV3 are single wall 4 season tents.

    I hope this is helpful.

  • How long does it take to set up?

  • @janplexy

With a rain fly. Anywhere from 18 to 25 minutes. Depending on conditions.

    Thanks for stopping by.

  • It was a special day. Happy Birthday!

  • @ericplloyd . Yes it can. The hard part is getting it set-up in high winds.

  • @4zmusic Very helpful, thank you! I looked at the EV3, But ive always seems to have a bigger issue with moisture and rain with single walls. Anyway, great Video. I love Mt. Hood.

  • How does this model compare to the "ve- 25"?

  • this was filmed on my birthday :)

  • @4zmusic Yep, looks good man. Thanks for the info, cheers.

  • The name of that NF tent is the Sputnik 2. It's a 3 season tent. The NF M25/35 are 4 season tents.

    peace-out.
