"Over-regulated"? "Washington is the problem"? Really? You have got to be kidding. Over-fishing, not over-regulating, has devastated fishing. But, this short-sighted stance is no surprise from Big Oil Brown. Deplete the resource until there is nothing left, then deal with the consequences. The Scotty Brown way.

The fishing ad by Scott Brown is misleading. While fish stocks have improved somewhat, there is still declining fish populations. Outlying fishermen are still trying to work around the system and that is why there are laws and fines to combat this illegal fishing. It is unfortunate this generation of fishermen are facing a challenge to their income but this is the price when previous generations of fishermen/corporations overfish our oceans.
