    Go on any video on youtube and you will see all of that including the guy(you) saying things about fans being idiots and that he is a fan himself

    Yeah, this is exactly what is going on. Because from a dutch point of view it's annoying. I can imagine from an american point of view it's a strange and exotic accent. But for me it's like I'm taken out of the scene and reminded that it's acting. Wich sucks :P. Thanks

    This point of critique is kind of bothering me. Of course, you're entitled to have that opinion, and opinions in general, but it seems to me that most of the comments about Carice's accent are coming from.. other Dutch people. Maybe you're not used to hearing Dutch actors speaking English. Also, the character she portrays originates from a far away land. Which make it understandable for her to have an accent, don't you agree?
