I Learnt this at 8 and that affected my life in quite a big way! i understand that all kids are different and their education is partially about them being ready, but with kids like me, when my friend (she was nine years old) asked what a 'willy' was my teacher simply replied it where wee comes from so-being 8 i told her and the class that it was also used for making babies and before my teacher could stop me, i repeated everything my mum told me about sex and got double detention!

@Shazza9500 No, I did not coach my daughter and tell her what to say. Your parents did you a disservice by NOT educating you at an early age about the natural and normal process of reproduction. The mentality of "Let's put our kids in a bubble and prevent them from understanding the world" is detrimental! Did your parents simply dance around the subject or ignore it? Did they lie and make up a story about a stork? Now THAT is sad.

I did not know this shit till I was like 15 and here I am listening to this six year old girl talking about How babies are made she put in good detail though have to give her that but still that's wrong to teach your six year old that go with the old Jesus puts it in the female body thing not the whole 9 yards

Judging by your grammar and lack of punctuation you missed out on some other important education as well. You actually think I should have withheld teaching my daughter the truth and instead filled her brain with fictitious nonsense about Jesus? Are you kidding me?!!
