How to do:
1) Download this Patch-4.MPQ here:
http://www.file-upload.net/download-2782282/Patch-4.MPQ.html
2) Close World of Warcraft and put this file into your World of Warcraft folder.
The Path should be something like: C:\World of Warcraft\Data
3) Make sure that the file is named: "Patch-4.MPQ"
4) Start World of Warcraft & go to Scholomance which is located in Western Plaguelands.
5) Make sure you find a priest who comes with you so you can levitate up the walls.
6) Enjoy.

@itsmeyoudick if you find an illegal WoW server set at an older patch, it is possible. I've seen servers that run the Alpha version of vanilla WoW, so you should be able to find one.

personally, i think it would have been a better expansion than wotlk or cata, lorewise and all that

Unfortunately all the videos about emerald dream on youtube now are model edits, but at least your song choice suggests that you've seen one of noggaholics most impressive videos, like 4 years old. Which is respectable if you've been into the exploiting game that long. kudo's

i want to see the original emrald dream from way back in the day from the green smoke. is it possible to go into wow on a lower patch when it was still possible to do the green smoke way?

You should not put it on Youtube, it's "Great Exploration" people must find it alone. That's too easy to know how it's done... as simple as you can do it on a private server...
