Yeah, thanks for the confirmation. I figured the real life reason for actor absences may've been because of other commitments, but I was just trying to think of an in-story reason for Shannon not being on the plane. Folks have been wondering why we didn't see Michael, Walt, and some of the tail section people, but I figure either the writers didn't have a need for them yet, or they've been influenced in the alternate timeline to not get on Flight 815. Tail folks could still be there in back.
@KrisAB Maggie Grace who plays Shannon was working on another project and could not make it to the premiere. Ian Somerhalder was cooler to see anyway. He Christian and Ethan have returned to the show the most since being killed.
So the time flash saved Juliet and company from being blown up/sunk (maybe it brought Horace and a few other recognizables to the "present"/2007 as well--oooh, just thought of that now, hmm), they end up in the "normal" timeline (the one viewers see as the Original), because in SOME version of the events, the island never got blown underwater. The island simply placed them back where they belonged (sort of) and the past in which they detonated the bomb became the past for the alternate timeline
It might be that the time flashes are intentional, by the island (or whoever governs its magic or whatever), to course correct certain events. Juliet and all set off a bomb, but they time flashed to 2007 (why wouldn't it put them back in 2004? I guess because they lived for three years in the 1970s, from 1974 to 1977, the island took that time lived into consideration and added 3 years to 2004...well, 2005, techically, since the Oceanic 6 were rescued early in January 2005).
Timeline for Desmond originally went, 1) He and Penny don't work out, 2) He goes to LA for whatever reason and meets Jack briefly when they're both doing the tour de stade running thing, he tells Jack that he's training for a race around the world competition, 3) He meets Libby in a diner (or something like that, I REALLY need to see Seasons 1 to 3 again) and she gives him her dead husband's boat. Desmond uses the boat for part of the race, but gets pulled in by the island. No island, no trap.
yeah, it was the most interesting part of the 3rd hour of final season.
Hopefully tomorrow we get a little closer
I have to say, I was disappointed with that was in the guitar case, even if needed. Just kinda like, at least the big fricken box had John Locke's body in it.
And the way everybody is letting a now known fake John Locke get away with probable murder is odd. But we'll see.
I should probably do a full season 1 thru 4 repeat.
is there someone in the background wathing tv or something?
