Una de las piezas clave del disco Wild Frontier es "The Loner", una preciosa instrumental que en directo se alargaría hasta el cuarto de hora. Se trata de una composición jamas utilizada de Max Middleton, aparece en el disco solista de Cozzy Powell, posteriormente Gary Moore trabjaria sobre este mismo toma convirtiendolo en la joya que podemos ver.
Un guitarrista actualmente infravalorado y las nuevas generaciones deberian de tomar en cuenta.
