'Bout ten years ago at the Arcotta residence, Naples, NY, where jazz drummer great John Arcotta and wife Cathy were living. My King Master cornet (like Wild Bill Davison's) playing into the Altec "Lipstik" tube condenser mic (to cassette). Miss that horn! Anyhow, here's my little Christmas offering to everyone this Christmas 2010. UPDATE 2/27/11: Well, here we are midway through 2011 and I just got a great early Christmas present--John Arcotta will be moving from Colorado back to Rochester in September, and boy, we goan play!
@saxplayr2000 JIM! HEY! Somehow I didn't see your comment post till today! Great to hear from you and thanks for the nice recollections. Yes, I was class musician with Gail--only the administration elected to literal scissor me out of the photo of me and Gail, you may recall. Speaking of talent, you know, I've always regretted we never played together while you were at Eastman. Anyway, I'm happy to hear from you; please let's keep in touch.

Hey Mike! This is Jim Ferris, ('76 grad - sax), Gail's brother ('72 grad- flute) and long time admirer of your incredible talent. Stil remember when Maynard Fergueson called you out of the audience to play with his band at the MCC High School Jazz Festival!!! Living in North Carolina these days...
