This is the trailer for the re-release of Incubus, starring William Shatner(1965). This is an outstanding film shot entirely in the language Esperanto.
You can buy the DVD at

And it's well worth it.

  • Plu bona prononco de Esperanta fonetiko plibonegus filmon. Mi perceptis tro multe malpronancajn vortojn. Naskiganta Akchento ne estis problemo, sed tre distortaj aux komplete shangxintaj fonemoj. Diranco ankauxe estis ne bona. Esperanto bezonas gravajn filmojn kun la plej eble bona prononco.

  • I saw this movie on Svengoolie years ago, loved it.

  • @georgoeb Vi estas malafabla! Mi estas komencanto de Esperanto kaj mi prononco estas malbonega! Ĝis!

  • @thecritiquevirtuoso That's what happens when you keep an old tuna can and some shoe laces in your pocket at a Petting Zoo!

  • Esperanto is not (as this trailer states) an "artificial" language. It is a "devised" language. An artificial language has not etymology ... no word roots. (Klingon is a good example of an actual "artificial" language). Esperanto has its roots mostly in Latin, with a lot of Germanic, as well as some Greek and Indo-European word roots. Also (little known fact) today there are an estimated 200 or so people for whom Esperanto is/was their first language.
