89 Rx7 CorkSport Exhaust w/ Magnaflow XL 3 pre-silencer

1989 N/A Rx7 GXL with a Racing Beat header, Magnaflow XL 3 pre-silencer, and CorkSport Power Series catback. No other mods to car except CAI and OMP delete running pre-mix.

Which xl muffler did you use? Do you have any pictures of the exhaust from under the car? I really like the sound. I already have a rb header and was thinking about buying a rb presilencer and corksport cat back, but this magnaflow sounds awesome and is way cheaper than a rb presilencer. Just curious how you got everything to fit since all the xl mufflers are center/offset or offset/offset.

@laxfreak3557 I got my RB header used without a flange so I custom built my setup. The XL 3 is 14" center/offset 2.5" to 2.5". Inlet center and outlet offset. I welded the XL 3 slightly diagonally to mate the CS cat-back. The exhaust is still pretty loud until you use a CS tailpipe silencer. The silencer made my car "unable to talk to passengers" loud to "I can carry a conversation" quiet. If you got the flanges, I recommend buying bolt ons + CS silencer unless you want to weld your on exhaust.

@laxfreak3557 MFW CS catbacks are VERY loud because they go 2.5" on the flange to 3.149" (80mm) all the way.

Love the sound! you removed the 3 cats?? IMO those XL magnaflow are good to quiet down the exhaust..they act like a turbo muffler (chambered)
