Democracy also fails because it tries to satisfy the loud-mouth and uneducated butt-hurt majority population over realism and practicality.

@youpube1011 well then we're all fucked according to you, cose there is no government free of corruption
-
Democracy fails because once it has been corrupted the removal of this corruption is near impossible to achieve.
-
this video is way to concise to even touch on the problems of democracy as exacerbated through the state (i.e. cost spreading)

Elections must be democratic because there is no other alternative other than having them appointed or voted by a minority. RULE OF LAW must be set in principles and documents who's aim is to protect the individual freedoms of each person against abuses from other authorities (police, religion, city hall, AND the majority.)

@turgore How do you mean exactly?
-
@VincentBrooke1 and it doesn't work so well when the blind is leading the blind.
-
@Dodec84 Yeah, at least you're vote for Christian fundamentalists, bigots, racists, passive dictators, toffs and private school wankers, rich kids who've paid their way into Parliament. And I don't want a leader. Like Doug Stanhope said, 'If you need a fuckin leader you're a weak fuckin faggot: hire a Dominatrix and have her put you on a dog-chain and walk you around the room, rub your nose in your own piddle. If you need to be led your fuckin weak.' Anarchism: Yay. Libertarianism: Hmmmm...
-
@VincentBrooke1 At least you can vote! In libertarian paradise, you just have to work and serve the happy few.
-
@Dodec84 I dunno... With an anarchic ideology people's independet thoughts are (ideally) free to change the society around them, and were it to be put into practice now things would change greatly. The world we live in right now is more like a subliminal dictatorship: The ignorance of the public has taken the place of bullets and bombs, meaning those at the top manipulate majority opinion to support their own causes...
"Democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding what to eat for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote."

Democracy is the unquestionable belief that the majority is ALWAYS right.
