do not plug it in to a surge protecter plug it directly into the wall

Must of been the video recorder or something but you sounded like a dude with a really high voice.

ALSO! just would like to point out, do not keep it in a bok case or a confined space, give it atleast half a foot all the way around so air can enter all the vents

because then the vent on the bottom is being suffocated and not letting any air in

This guy is right. I keep my 360 1 1/2 feet away from the wall, and I have never had an overheating issue. There were even times where I would have Halo 3 all-nighters, and when I got off, the console was only mildly warm.
