I had filmed "Hurricane Emma" that hit Germany on Saturday but unfortunately my camera deleted my film covering a period of one hour. This is shortly afterwards on my balcony in Munich. This was the same Hurricane Emma that almost crashed a LH flight from Munich to Hamburg on the same day. Check it out under:

It's amazing that the LH Pilot was able to control it! Thank GOD!!!

  • in hungary near to budapest it caused 140-150 km/h wind. in my street naerly every house lost the roof.

  • Hi Casgirlhung, thanx for watching and leaving your comment! I'm sorry to hear about the damaged caused by this Hurricane! I was in Hungary in 2004 & visited Budapest, what a beautiful city!!!

    Take care, Nnek@ ;o) x

  • sorry to add again,

Recently what i learnt the documentary in australia that talk about how the globe warming were things change since here we have drought for over 100 years it was bit dry "el nano i think if i spell that right" and now we got la nina in some area but not fully cover in australia as yet. In Same time your storm "emma", here my place in brisbane, australia we have pouring rain non stop for nearly 3 months.

  • Hi Dear Dexter, you can add as often as you like! ;o) Wow, that sounds very interesting. We had a very short winter here, not the usual amount of snow. Some mountians in Alps are actually cracking up and falling due to the Ice/snow melting which keeps the mountains together! I believe that they want to put some type of covering over some mountains!

The ski Resorts are having all sorts of problems as it doesn't snow as much as it used too.

  • Yeah the weather can change very quickly i tell you my story when i was in Melbourne, Australia. it was late summer say appox 1pm it was 41C it dry not humid and see there is the storm cloudy is overcast the city, than next few min when the storm started and it change to 7C all i got was short and t'shirt i wouldnt believe how that cold was so quick to change from hot day and was waiting for the tram (light rail), to get me back to the hotel to get change.

  • Hi again Dexter, wow, that is a big drop in the temperature!

Well so far this year, I haven't seen weather like it before. Something is diffently changing. But then again our planet has always changed over billions of years, various Ice-Ages etc.,

  • Hi Angelsharkz, thanx for your comment. Yes, I have never seen the weather change so much in such a short space of time in my life! It was amazing wasn't it! I live to the North of Munich. Danke Dir und ganz liebe Grüsse, Nnek@ ;o) x

  • Hey this storm was extreme^^

I live south of munich..we had 15°C there, and 20min later we had 2°C :D

    Wind reached 130km/h

  • Hi my Dear Heybeeg, I haven't heard of La Nina before, so I'll have to look into that. I'm safe and sound indoors and I hope you are too! I'm just uplaoding some of my holiday vids from our Family visit in April, 2007 to my Mum's home town in Ennis, Co. Claire, which is on the West Coast of Ireland. After that, the next stop is AMERICA!!! Very Kind Regards, Nnek@ ;o) x

  • Hi Nnek@! I do enjoy your videos having never really seen videos of Germany.

They're blaming our weather on La Nina, if that makes any sense. It doesn't really make sense to me as that's what they've said every year and La Nina isn't supposed to happen that often! LOL!

We're getting a huge rain storm that came up the Eastern Coast of the U.S. today. Could have been worse - could be SNOW!

Stay dry and warm - Spring is around the corner!
