This is part 2 of my special video series on YouTube which present to you THREE Caravan-based shmups for the Japanese Sharp x68000/x68030 home computer series which reminds us all of the time-attack shooting modes on the PC-Engine/TurboGrafx-16 that made them so smoldering damn good in the first place!!! ^_~ !
The second game I will show you here is titled Zero Master Striker, released in 1992 by Kazuyuki Shinjuki Gumi as an original x68000/x68030 computer version, and it is a MUCH better-looking game than Super Star Shooter in many ways... and a lot more fun as it reminds me more of the Caravan stages in Soldier Blade (PC-Engine/TurboGrafx-16) but with A LOT of style thrown in right here!! As well, your powerful all-important homing missiles are launched *only* when changing from "Low" to "High" in the speed setting while the left-arrow symbols are up next to the speed indicator. It is a bit complicated, but you will eventually get the idea as you watch this video more and more!! ;)
And did I mention the graphics and the sounds in this one... they are *truly* awesome job indeed, and the game is FAST, too!!!
If you get a chance to play this game on the x68k computer system, do it by all means... so be sure not to miss it indeed!!! ^-^=b !!
Even more kick-ass game! :D
