This was a great opportunity for me and my mom, to meet and jam with sivamani upclose - thanks to my friend Jag that made this possible. This was a song my mom (Mrs Sulochana Venkatesan) sang for which Siva accompanied on the drums.
Siva is the king of drums - now, everyone knows that. But what I came to know more about him, during the few meetings in the last 2 years is that he is very energetic (can play for hours non-stop without getting tired). His energy and enthusiasm is very infectious. For the amount of talent and the celebrity that he is, Siva is a very down-to-earth humble guy, who can make friendly conversations with almost everyone, irrespective of age. He also has great respect for elders (you could see a sample of that towards the end of this video). Above all, he comes out as a very nice human being, that almost anyone in the world would love to befriend and hang out with. A great guy indeed!
There are no words to explain how this great boss is playing the with his sticks.

Your mum seems perfectly at ease jamming with him. The impromptu do is so much Sivamani.
