Lecture Date: Tuesday, December 11, 2007. For over 40 years, physicists have been trying to track down a hypothetical particle called the Higgs boson. This particle could explain how known elementary particles like the electron can have mass, and also why one of the basic forces, the weak interaction, is in fact so incredibly weak. However, the Higgs boson has escaped detection so far, even at the most powerful particle accelerators. The next big chance to "bag" this particle will come when the Large Hadron Collider turns on next year. Will the Higgs boson finally be found? Or will an unexpected explanation for these mysteries be revealed? Lecturer: Lance Dixon, SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.

  • What if it dose not Exist

  • The Higgs Boson is linked to all dimensions of consciousness. The missing link is that it is unaware of this reality. It is unaware because it depends on individual subjective thought and consciousness to exist. Like all particles, it acts accordingly to who is observing it. Without an observer, it does not exist.

  • is the higgs particle almost like air that sticks to you so you have mass and you can only move through it at a maximum speed like the speed of sound but instead its the speed of light. so would gravity be explained by the flow of these particles pushing you towards a planet? so if you were shielded from these particles you would become massless and have no inertia so you could move an object instantly in any direction and faster than the speed of light. or am i totaly wrong
