I actually prefer the first ending, The second ending didn't have the power and I think the third ending was too short and rhythmically simple.

Makes you wonder whether in some parallel universe Beethoven's Fifth was actually composed in a slightly different way, as demonstrated here. Bernstein is fantastic.
