too bad there are just too many chibi moments in that anime :-( i am watching it right now and most of the emotional moments are destroyed by some childish actions

I know right... Same goes for the manga.

But at the end of the day, I really love Kare Kano just the way it is and I wouldn't change anything about it. Masami Tsuda's a brilliant mangaka and a lovely person. :)

I have too agree about the anime but I think the manga is completely different. Many of the volumes are very serious and dont have any chibi moments at all. I Love the manga!

Great job! The anime was good but it didn't really do the book that much justice since the anime series was so short!
