37109 and 37418 ''ELR'' 30-05-09 BEASTAGE!

On May 30th 2009 a terriffic day was had by all at the ELR as they hosted a ''Class 37'' runnning day with all three of the home fleet... 37901 played second fiddle all day as the two most recent of the East Lancs fleet brought the crowds flocking to Bury! 37109 was making her debut in Resplendant BR Blue livery, beautifully restored. Meanwhile 37418, still in very well worn EWS livery was a major attraction as well. There was much thrash and clag throughout the day to keep all us bashers more than happy.. My thanks goes to all the staff at the ''East Lancashire Railway'' who help make days like this possible, all the drivers as well ofcourse for making the loco's what they are. Laslty I would like to thank all the fellow bashers especially the ones who appear on my clips here for making it such a great day. The atmosphere was terriffic!! Lots of flayling and bellowing throughout this video so be warned its not for the faint hearted lol! Any questions queries or comments just ask.. Will be happy to respond stay tuned for more adventures very soon :-) All the best for now.

Why couldn't the tunnel walls be closer? This is why I don't go to the ELR cos you get cocks like these just ruining it for others. I want the sound of the 37. Not the sound of your high pitched squeals of enjoyment.

Bellowing can be excessive and arm flailing can be too, but the idea that it is dangerous that so many people want to pervade is basically long term going to ensure that this is stopped by physical means as a requirement of health and safety, none of us would want that, I enjoy leaning out of the train window, its the best, I enjoy the sound of the locos too but if they physically bar up the windows, then what then, as always moderation is the key, not drastic measures! - edit

"Got a life"? Hanging out of train windows, screaming like half wits and waving arms around outside the train windows like people not in full control of their bodies? Normal people go to diesel gala's too, what do you think they think looking on at behaviour such as yours? You do more harm to the hobby than you do good, and give us all a bad name.

no its not the bashers get ur facts right its the owning groups that keep them goin and yes i av seen kids goin it plus its not rare to do on mainline cause time after time on railtours i av seen it. it is childish ask me m8 and he will tell u that it is i will continue 2 watch vids cause u cant stop me from doin it. iam not bein a killjoy wen ever i want 2 do a dvd of sumthing its always u lot that stops me from doin this.

Excuse me..!! I think you will find that besides the ''owning groups'' as you call them, people such as yourselves (CFPS) and many other groups and preserved lines have many bashers to thanks for the funds that they have got and have had at their disposal!!..u know as well as any of us that events like this attract many bashers to do just what we do. Its not childish it's far from it actually..we could be out smashing cars and mugging people but we HAVE got a life!! 100's of others do it 2!!
