8 bands are the standard, and now with a small modification the radio makes 25615-30105 and also the A channels on each of the bands. Also makes PO 25610-30110 AM/FM

Now made in CHINA, not Thailand

  • will these uk intek CB radios work here in pennsylvania in the united states? too talk too the other CB users here?

  • @nosjarede Yes it will work as it covers the FCC 26965-27405 AM Channels Also.

  • Not really, the radio is sat almost bang on legal limits. Have tested it this afternoon and gets better reports than the JFK II the audio was told is more rounded and sharp.

Nice, as the JFK II is the only President with good modulation on FM

  • simon ive got one of these but it dont have ru in is there a mod i can do so that it has what you show in the video ???

  • Hi Somon,

I want to buy a new radio for my car, and I have 2 option: intek m 490 and intek m 760( 2nd GENERATION ESP "COMPANDER"). Witch one is the best in TX and RX mode. Now I have intek m 120 + Sirio ML 145 antena, and is not so good in RX mode, but is good in tx mode.

    Thank you !

  • I foud this : Behind the chip there is LK1 SOLDERED closed, remove the solder and keep the ends apart . This is the procedure ?

  • Hi Simon,

Can you tell me how to "mod" my intek m 120. Thank you !

  • I moded the Intek 110 plus and 790 and they are brilliant ,really good audio ,alphas, lots of bands.I think these are the best multi standard radio's you can get.I wish they had been available in the 70's and 80's.

  • Hi Simon,

Looks like a capable little transceiver, is there a power output mod for it?
