whats the smallest size pond/tank that you can keep three koi in?

It depends on how big they are and if you plan on keeping them a long time. You can house three small Koi in a 30 to 55 gallon aquarium. They will grow so, the smallest tank you can permanently keep them in would probably be around 500 gallons.
