I think the thing here is on CBS Katie was all serious and stuff where as as we can see here Katie is Katie and so funny....if CBS just would have allowed Katie to be herself maybe things would have turned out better for the show.

This is going to sound weird but as much as I hate seeing Katie on the evening news, that's how much I enjoy seeing her on The Today Show. She was always so much better suited for morning TV.
