  • Damn not bad! Keep up the good work, I just bought a carter starter also, and I'm still confused, but your videos are very helpful so far!

  • Time well wasted! Thanks for the licks, I'm just getting started and those are the songs I want to play!

  • Hey I love the Mooney licks...great stuff!! I have a Carter Starter too and they can put out some mean sound can't they?...Keep up the good work buddy!

  • the g chord you thought was a 7th chord is a Gsus4.

the 3rd of the chord is raised by a semitone.

  • Handy stuff indeed! I am at the begininng of all this, with Above and Beyond and Under Your Spell. It's good for loosening up the ankles.

I greatly appreciate Mr. Mooney's style too, because of his innovative approach.

Thank you very much; you certainly did not waste my time. I know too little!

    Tim.

  • Some good Bakersville sound in those licks ! Keep posting the Mooney licks !

  • Instructional on intro to "Under The Influence" was very helpful.

And this one (basic beginner on Moon's style) also superb. Are you playing an MSA? Me too. And what kind of amp? Love the sound, and all that heavy echo. Please do more of this stuff. Thanks.

  • If you want to play like the 1960 studio recording Above and beyond starts on the eleventh fret in key of Ab.

  • hey clinton, now that you have had your Carter starter for a while, do you find that it still holds up, considering the price of the model and everything...I play lap steel and can comp the pedal steel licks pretty well, but am looking for a 10 stringer for the E9 tuning,,,I like norm hamlet and mooney and brumley,,,it seems that you can get a pretty good sound out of her,,just looking for your general feelings on the thing,,thanks and see you on the Tele forum! hannababalon,,,aka Tele Salivas

  • Reaaly good man , i am from Paris and I loved your videos. Amazing.
