Brown Chicken Brown Cow String Band at Stella Blues #2

Brown Chicken Brown Cow String Band returned to Hawaii to open up their first show on Maui at Stella Blues in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii.

The crowd was excited and couldn't get enough of them. Xander Hitzig playing the Guitar and Fiddle, while also doing the vocals, Xander's brother Orion playing the mandolin and helping out with the vocals, Justin
Morris playing Guitar and Banjo, and Matt Del Olmo playing Upright Base, make up the Brown Chicken Brown Cow String Band.

They are an diverse mixture of sounds and yet not wonder too far from their base, it's amazing how well it works.

After the December 4, 2010 gig at Stella Blues, their next stop is Casanova Restaurant in Makawao. This is where I first caught them on Earth Day 2009, and the source of my first videos on the band. I've been addicted since and they fill that void I seem to have for this sort of music, especially being tied down to Maui.

Two up-coming gigs that would be fun are the Molokai Arts Center on December 12th, 2010 and Kipahulu Community Center on December 22nd, 2010. They squeeze one in between at the Paia Tattoo Parlor with a live recording on December 17th, 2010.
