@bugginout, 50 miles? good luck.. (unless talking skip or a tuned up radio or having an amplifer (both illegal)... FCC rules is 4watts AM - 12 watts SSB...

I have a cobra 29 chrome with shythumper echo, rfx 75 and a Wilson 5000 it's a damn good set up!!!

Im looking to buy a cb radio. I want to be able to transmit far and receive from far. Maybe like 50 miles? Somebody point me in the right direction? What other parts i need for the cb radio? Help

is it illegal to get one of these in a normal car for fun ? in the uk ?
