In this video you can see a tank of a Fishkeeping fair near my hometown (in Duisburg) called "12. Zierfische & Aquarium 2009 und 1. Internationalen Cichliden Tage".

We have a video of many tanks of this fair.

It's a 200 x 50 x 50 cm tank with 500 liters (6.5 x 1,6 x 1,6 feet with 132 us gallon) .

The population of this tank:

- Tanganyika Cichlid, a mouthbrooding Tilapiane cichlid / Tanganjikatilapia, Tanganjika-Perlcichlide (Oreochromis tanganicae)
- Cuckoo catfish, cuckoo squeaker or multipunk / Kuckuckswels, Leopard-, Vielpunkt Fiederbartwels (Synodontis multipunctatus)

Yeah, most of those large growing cichlids are food fish. Like the Tilapia, which is used for development aid food (Unfortunately that's bad for the local fish populations).

did u just fed them. ur fish are breathing kinda hard. no good water filter or bubble maker.

Wow, beauties! How do you keep them happy? I've only managed gold severums but cichlids are an interesting lot! Makes good pet and will come up to the front and gaze at you.... Or ask for more food! LOL....I love stroking them, curious intelligent fellows!
