Mention what on the book?
If your talking about sequals, she's said herself that she never thought The City of Ember would be as popular as it was. She never thought of writing a prequel or a trillogy, which is why the prolouge is actually book 3. I own the first printing of book 1 and it never mentions book 2. Book 2 never mentions book 3 and book 3 never mentions book 4. She's writing these as she goes along.
The City of Ember is her FIRST published book after all. =D

OMG!! I love the book! I'm sooo excited to see the Movie! -n_n- Go Lina and Doon!!
The only thing in the trailer that seemed funny was "An Underground City was Built To Last only 200 Years.. Now Time is Up." Although they didn't outright say it, I hope they don't screw up the timeline.. because they're down there for WAAAAY more then 200 years. xD
I wonder if they'll do The People of Sparks and The Prophet of Yonwood too? =3

There's FOUR books so far, actually. n_n
The third book "The Prophet of Yonwood" is a prolouge telling the story of how Ember came to be. The fourth book, The Diamond of Darkhold, takes place after The People of Sparks. It's about some power source that's hidden down in Ember and Lina and Doon have to go back down and find it. n_n
