Does this form have an actual name, other than First Lohan Quan form? I have seen it before, though executed differently, and was curious.
-
I practise the same form (Ist Lohan Quan form). The moves are the same but executed totally differently.
-
This is from Abbot Sik Kau sem from SIngapore Shaolin......
-
Better question is what is your lineage? That form seems very unorthodox.

Also, for those interested, I found a book on Amazon with this exact form entitled "Shaolin Lohan Kung Fu" by P'ng Chye Kim and Donn F. Draeger.

I learned this form a long time ago from a Chan Buddhist monk of the Southern Shaolin lineage. It may look different in execution as I'm primarily a Chen Taiji/Southern Mantis practitioner. That being said I generally incorporate the practice of ging, fajin, and spiral/coiling energy into my training. I'm glad to see there are others who do this form and I encourage the overall training of Kung Fu by means of any system.
