On this video I show how I turn my trash into treasure by upcycling a yogurt container into a surprise mini album. You can also go half way through and make a stylish pencil holder... For the list of tools and supply and step-by-step instructions, visit my blog at: http://www.creativityprompt.com/creativity-prompt-upcycle-a-yogurt-container-... .

Music is by: Josh Woodward from his album: "Not Quite Connected". You can listen to his great songs at: http://www.joshwoodward.com

Thanks for watching, enjoy!

  • What a great idea!! I love the concept of upcycling and making pretty decorations or gifts out of unused items, and I never would have thought of it. Thank you for sharing!

  • @KristinsCreations You are very welcome. I'm glad you liked it and found it helpful!

  • neat idea another way to attach the circles of the mini album is to attach them like an accordion to a piece of ribbon, more labor intensive to put back together, but a thought.

    very creative idea!!!

  • @misskelowna Thanks, that's an awesome idea! xo

  • love this!! but whats its purpose? do u stick pics on the pages inside or something??

  • @emma01134 Exactly... It's supposed to be a mini circular album.

  • Great idea, this is really good and completely original, i don't think anyone else has come up with an idea so unique. Well done, I'm going to feature you on my upcycling blog for other ideas :D squidoo.com/how-to-make-a-scarf-from-an-old-t-shirt

  • i don't get what it is

  • @CreativityPrompt oh cool im so guna make one :D

  • @sonalg1988 You would actually need to make a pattern because the container has a cylindric shape. This is why I just used many thin stripes instead. Less fuss and it looks somewhat artistic. :)
