On "State of the Union," John King plays for two Senators, tape of former Vice President Dick Cheney accusing President Obama and the White House of "dithering."

Sen. Sherrod Brown (D) responds: "I think it's outrageous... To listen to Dick Cheney, who was the mastermind of the most failed decade of foreign policy that this country's had... talk about dithering... when their mistake was to attack Iraq and lose sight of Afghanistan... [it's] eight years of dithering by that administration."

Also, Republican Senator Orrin Hatch replied: "I would never want to call my President dithering... but he argues that it's "a mistake to continue to not make this decision."

  • george bush and dick cheney did more damage to us than the terrorists could have dream..who cares what cheney says now

  • Afghanistan is a war we will lose.

    Period.

No nation has EVER been able to take control of it fully. The Taliban is not some group of extremists, they are a part of the Afgani CULTURE. They are NOT going away.

Anyone that thinks that is not true is either idiot that knows nothing about the country or a war profiteer.

The war there needs a different approach, we have an oportunity to diplomatically create a split in the Taliban. Its the safer way to make an Afghan that doesnt need us.

  • Sen. Sherrod Brown... hubba hubba!!

  • Hey Hatch, where was your criticism when Cheney ignored the generals' calls for more troops for Afghanistan in 2003?

  • Left and Right must come together to end this dictatorship of corruption and bribery in Washington.

    What's it gonna take? Suggestions?

  • Yes, from where you get your news, it is all Al Queda.

  • It's all Al Queda.

  • Taliban = Afghanistan

    Al Quada = Iraq

  • Republican or Democrat, white or black, another US president ignores the military advice from the Generals they themselves put in place.

Bush- "We must not rest until we catch these terrorist killers, now watch this drive"

Obama- "I`ll make A/Stan a top priority unlike the previous administration, after I`ve fucked off to China and Japan that is"

The bullshit about Karzai is more lies, the extra troops were to help relieve the load on US and NATO troops, not prop-up Karzai. More shit-lies.

  • Amazing that these bastards can...

...ruin world financial markets, be involved in 9/11, invade the wrong country just toi make profit for their buddies, desimate the constitution, be wanted for war crimes in 24 countries, all in the name of (G)od...

..... and 43% of Americans still support them. Cheney/Palin 2012... Palin/Hannity? Rove/Gingrich 2012? Take your pick, if we don't get the facts out THAT will be our END!!!

  • look on here and there is a vid of cheney saying there was no evidence bin laden had anything to do with sept 11.
