Ukrainian Nazis didn't manage to pass through Donetsk downtown!

Ukrainian Neo-Nazis and ultra-nationalists decided to perform march with torches in the centre of east-ukrainian industrial city of Donetsk. They planned to go through the centre of the city of Donetsk right to the monument of fighters for Soviet power in the city, where they had planned to burn down Soviet flags and party flags of Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine!
They were shouting anti-communist and anti-socialist as well as ultra-nationalist slogans.
But actually the march has failed due to opposition of PSPU and "Donbass Rus" organizations activists. Instead of marching 10 km through the city, neobanderovites just managed to pass about 200 m, and were stopped by protests of leftists activists!

Укронацисты запланировали на 29 января 2009 года в Донецке шествие с факелами от памятника Шевченко через весь центр города по центральной улице Артема до памятника Борцам за советскую власть, где на братской могиле планировали сжечь советские флаги.
Но! По улице Артёма они пройти не смогли! А из запланированого 10-километрового шествия одолели не более 200 метров, после чего были остановлены русскими порядочными людьми и развернуты в обратном направлении к тому месту, откуда они и начали. Флаги они смогли сжечь только будучи оцепленными милицией от русских оппонентов и то посреди улицы, а не могиле дончан-революционеров.

@libertasystem Obviously you haven't been around. Ukraine was uglier 20 years ago shortly after independence but only because of having inherited the soviet legacy. The backwardness and ugliness was imposed from Moscow in order to ruin and assimilate Ukraine. Terror, famine, GULAG, russification and absence of freedom does make one country backward and ugly but Ukraine can thank Moscow for that :)
