This is Allen Willard, Chief of Scientific Review Branch of NINDS & the Coordinator of several groups that have been charged with the implementation of a set of Enhancements to the NIH Peer Review system. This is an out-take of a video by NIH that discussed some of the recent changes to the structure of NIH applications and how those changes are related to the peer review system.

The first sentence in this out-take he is referring to the recent changes and if they are not followed, your application may be sent back to you without review. This brief out-take talks about the final step for success READ the new grant application instructions + pay close attention to the page #s. Additionally, he talks about what has NOT changed.
