  • Thanks Ken - brilliant. I loved that beautifully clean exhaust in the opening shot, against a clear blue sky! You missed out the "w" in Wreath, by the way. Can you explain to the ignorant how Richard died so suddenly? It passed me by.

  • From what I gather he passed away in his sleep.

  • Thank you, from a (regretfully) non volunteering member.

  • @ShaurntheSheep The earth abutment has been excavated as part of the clearance of the disused mill buildings which were adjacent to the Railway, and the general tidying of that area. I don't know if the earthworks will be replaced. Hopefully they will.

  • A great video and tribute to Richard.

Richard was rostered as fireman that day. To cover the duty four of his closest friends decided to fire a trip each. As you can see they turned the engine out superbly.

Thank-you very much for posting this, he is greatly missed.

    Chris.

  • Excellent footage and a nice tribute to Richard and the team at KWVR. It must have been hard for them to carry on working over the weekend. Condolences to his family.
