  • @jeng222 Thai borrowed the Chinese numerals... other related languages though like Buyang retained the original Tai-Kadai numbers...unfortunately Thai and Lao didn't...and other Asian languages with similar numerals such as Korean and Japanese also borrowed them from Chinese
