@vikingvic some of us needs reinforcement. That's why motivational materials exist, the church, license renewal, etc. it all serves as reinforcement to what we should already know. Plus, common sense is not always common practice.

The reason i felt the need to state that is because of how many people i see suffer negative consequences from not doing it.

I agree 100%. It's always best to get started and finished EARLY in the day. Those truck stops fill up mighty quick after 7:00pm and you could spend hours trying to find somewhere else to park and sleep for the night.

@jloch85 yeah, that is a specific tip I forgot to mention about the truckstops in heavy traffic zones getting full in the late evenings, nice post jloch

It's common sense stuff but many, many people do not follow it at all, including regular 4 wheel drivers on the road. That's one of the reasons you always see so many people weaving in and out of lanes and driving over the speed limit.

I am a Bus Driver and if you don't get to the stop on time sometimes the passengers curse you out. Always wanted to be a truck driver but the Bus job i got pays well and i get to go home every-day.

Some people like myself whose parents grossly DO NOT support college oppurtunities want me to work a full time job to get the fuck out of their house and with no responsibilities I feel taking this stupid military living like job over my dockworker 10hr job anyday, paying fam...I mean tyrannic profligates rent because they live a lavish life really does fucking suck
