The Black Rock Shooter anime doesn't surprise me. I was expecting it after the release of the PSP game. And what that game did was Impressive, A 100,000+. That Unheard of, probably the best number a PSP only game has ever done! I didn't think that many people still owned PSP's! Not to add the sales numbers for the OVA's DVD. Ms. Miku better watch her back......

A note on black rock shooter,the same studio will be handling the animation however Yutaka Yamamoto who supervised the OVA won't be back and it's not clear if the plot will follow the ova or the game which are both very different.
The writer adapting the new Kenshin OVAs is one of the most popular writers of the moment who generally as of late likes to deviate from the source (see black butler)
And kind of a coincidence but the writers of bakuman will really be on hiatus next week!

Cant wait for the new Gundam manga! And the new evangelion movie. As for the dude from saw making a live action ninja scroll...I dont know since the saw movies plots are pretty bad... So i feel like itll just turn into a mindless gore fest. Then again this is ninja scroll...Well atleast if its directed beatifully in terms of angles and camera shots and all that then who knows might be good.
