fromthesidelines tells me "This was their final "Top 40" record (#23), released in November 1964, at the time The Beatles had firmly established themselves worldwide [as well as the U.S.]. In fact, The Ronettes opened for The Beatles at several U.K. concerts in early '64."

  • That little shitty device and that small black disc sounding light years better than anything done today on 49 thousand track digital studios. Like Al Pacino would say; "Something is really wrong here".

  • LOL :-D

  • heyy i got that record player. my one is a bit differnet but same overall look. unfortunately it stopped working recently. its a rca.

  • Would you be willing to part with it?

  • my fave ronnettes song, about the time the beatles came on the scene. things changed after that.

  • Back to mono indeed..sounds great.

  • Nice song and felt like i was in that time period and relaxing. I also noticed that the speed is slightly faster compared to the other 'turntable' vids posted here on Youtube also playing this record with the same label. Usually the kiddie record player's speed is always slightly faster compared to the Gerrard, B.S.R or any adult-type turntables. The professional type ones usually have the pitch controller

  • I have loved this song!! Even more than Be my Baby which I also loved! Ronnie and the girls were so cute and talented. I remember twirling around singing this song as a little girl. Thanks Ronnettes!
